How it works

How a reading works here

  1. ① Hold your question

Close your eyes and repeat your question three times. Open questions like “What should I do?” work best.

  2. ② Pick your cards

Click whichever of the 22 face-down cards draws you in. Each one flies into its place in the spread.

  3. ③ Flip and read

The cards turn over one by one, revealing Selena’s interpretation for upright or reversed cards.

New to tarot? 78 cards, explained simply

A tarot deck has 78 cards: the 22 Major Arcana, which show the big currents of life, and the 56 Minor Arcana, which show concrete everyday scenes. The Minor Arcana are divided into four suits— Wands (passion), Cups (emotion), Swords (thought), and Pentacles (the material world).

Our interpretations follow the symbolism of the Rider-Waite tradition, the most popular deck for beginners because its pictures make meanings easy to grasp intuitively. After your first reading, try Major vs. Minor Arcana and how to ask tarot a good question.

Frequently asked questions

Is Atelier Tarot free?

Yes. The daily tarot, every spread, and the full card dictionary are free to use with no sign-up.

How are the cards drawn?

All 78 cards are shuffled at random and 22 are laid face down. Click the cards that draw you in—each one flies to its position and flips over. About 30% of cards come up reversed.

How often can I draw the daily card?

Once a day. Drawing again and again for the same question only lets you pick the answer you want, so today’s card stays the same until midnight.

Can I trust tarot results?

Tarot does not fix the future; it is a mirror for your current feelings and situation. Use it for reflection and fun, and always consult professionals about health, legal, or financial decisions.
