Tarot Spread

Tarot Spreads

Choose the layout that fits your question. Three cards will tell you one story.

What is a tarot spread?

A spread is the layout you lay the cards in. The same card means different things depending on its position. For example, The Tower in the “Past” position points to a big change already behind you, while in the “Obstacle” position it warns of upheaval to prepare for. Choosing the right spread is the first step toward an accurate reading.

How readings work at Atelier Tarot

  • All 78 cards are shuffled at random and 22 are laid face down.
  • You click the cards yourself, and each one flies to its position.
  • Once all three are chosen, the cards flip one by one, revealing upright or reversed.
  • Alongside each position’s meaning, Selena’s overall reading looks at Major Arcana, suit patterns, and reversals.
  • Click a flipped card to open a detail window with love, money, and health meanings.

Tips for a clearer reading

Ask open questions like “What can I do?” rather than “Will it work out?”, and keep the time frame within one to three months. See how to ask tarot a good question and how to read a three-card spread.
